Problem

Create a store to follow up on the Currency System of Spades game, the game needed a Store where the player could buy more coins if they wanted with real-life money.

Process

We wanted the store to be simple and easy to come in buy some coins and leave without busying much players time:


  • Benchmark other competitors' stores;
  • Wireframe the entire flow with the Store screen and Rewarded Videos to also gift extra coins to the player;
  • Design Critique with other UX through other game teams;
  • Surveys with the icons proposed to understand which ones would represent better.

Solution

After all the UX processes we made the interface following the guidelines and the art direction of the game, which included:


  • User Interface, with vector (Figma) illustrations and cute/cartoonish;
  • Animations to reward the player while using Rewarded Videos;
  • Promo highlighted on the top of the Store;
  • Daily Bonus the player could receive if they played every day;
  • All the animations were made with Unity UGUI animator and Spritesheets;
  • All the screens and sprites were made on Figma exported and Implemented on Unity UI.
